The city of Lausanne attaches great importance to road safety and relies on our technology to achieve this. It has been using innovative solutions from via traffic controlling for years to make road traffic safer and more efficient. A success story that continues to grow

The start of this successful collaboration dates back to 2021. Lausanne ordered 60 viasis COMPACT speed display panels with the smart “via cloud” connection through our partner Solmani. Enthusiasm about the ability to control and read out the devices remotely in real time led to a repeat order of 15 more devices in 2022.

But that was not all: in 2024, via traffic controlling again won the tender from the city of Lausanne. The result: an expansion of the system with 38 additional devices in September 2024 and another 42 units in January 2025, bringing the total number of viasis devices installed in Lausanne to 155 - a clear sign of the confidence in our products.
